Rosa Ruales, MC., LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor Bilingual Therapist (English/Spanish)
Rosa Ruales is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with child, adolescent, individual and family therapy in English and Spanish. She creates a safe and compassionate environment in which self-understanding and self-empowerment are explored and promoted to create healthier, sustainable, and greatly fulfilling change. He is trained in the use of Sand Therapy and play therapy. Ms. Ruales has been trained in the Gottman Method for Couples Counseling (level 3)

Isabella Moreno, Ed. S., M.S., LPC,

Ms. Moreno has received training in Structural Family Therapy at the Child Guidance Clinic and University of Pennsylvania and a post graduate certification in marriage and family therapy from Saint Mary’s University, MN. Ms. Moreno is also a nationally and Arizona certified school psychologist, where she has worked in public schools for more than 20 years.

Mark Mansfield, M.S., LPC Licensed Professional Counselor
For a majority of that time he has worked with kids and their families. His experience also includes time as a behavioral consultant and a training manager. Therapeutically he primarily works from a CBT framework but includes elements of DBT and narrative therapy as well as the more indirective play-based Sand Therapy and StoryPlay® interventions. He is passionate about helping others heal, grow, and reach their full potential.

Seol Ki, MSW, LMSW
Licensed Master Social Worker

Seol earned a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University and Ph.D. in Communication from Rutgers University. She is licensed through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as LMSW. She specializes in a large array of challenges including, but not limited to: Intercultural challenges include racism and discrimination, interracial and/or international relationships, problematic internet use including excessive online/mobile gaming or social media use, stressors in higher education or academia, substance use, anxiety, depression As an immigrant herself, she understands acculturation-related stress for immigrants, international students, and interracial/intercultural relationships. She has conducted multiple research studies on health equity, internet gaming disorder, and opioid use disorder. With extensive experience in scientific research, Seol Ki uses evidence-based intervention strategies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interview.

Erica Ayala, LPC

Tiffany O'Connor MC., LAC

John Swarengin, LPC

Mr. Swearengin has experience serving the elderly, adults and young adults. He creates a safe, compassionate and a friendly environment to support people overcoming challenges in their life. He has several years of experience in the mental health, social services, substance abuse, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mentoring, crisis intervention. Dianna Isles, LPC

Dianna has experience working with individuals of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and interpersonal issues, values that every client is an individual with unique circumstances, and strives to meet them where they are. Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based, focusing on empowering the individual. Dianna believes that the most essential component to client growth and healing is a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.

Nicole Matheny

Nicole is pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Ottawa University. Her passion is assisting women and teenagers with their mental health. Nicole understands from personal experience that it is easy to feel overwhelmed with life and its entirety. If you are struggling with life, you are not alone. I will meet you at whatever stage you are at, and we will walk this path together. I am here to help. On a personal note – my husband and I have two adult children and two teenagers. Desirai Browning, LAMFT

Desirai Browning is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with both a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University. Presently, she works with couples, individuals and families with adult children. During her time as a therapist, Desirai has worked with diverse cultural groups and marginalized populations, and provides an inclusive atmosphere to the broad spectrum of adult concerns. She believes in providing holistic care for clients and focuses on all aspects of a person’s life in her therapeutic approach. As a therapist, Desirai understands the enduring stigma related to seeking treatment for mental health and is devoted to opening the doors for discussion and normalizing ‘asking for help’.


Brianna Orloswski, MAS, LAMFT
Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Brianna Orlowski has been practicing as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist for 9 years. Brianna has acquired her Masters of Advanced Studies in Marriage and Family therapy from Arizona State University in 2015. Brianna enjoys working with couples, families and children to help them get a better understanding of each other’s concerns and to work on learning how to appropriately communicate with each other. Brianna has experience in using psychotherapy, Gottman, Solution Focused and Narrative therapy- Brianna is hoping to build her experience in other modalities in order to serve clients in the best way possible. Brianna has experience with play therapy and some sand play therapy when working with children. Brianna also has multiple years working in the mental health crisis field and has experience in assuring that clients are provided the highest level of care when struggling with depression, suicidal Ideations, and substance abuse. Brianna has always had a drive to help others in their life and this is what has led her to choose the mental health field and she wants to continue to help others.

Sara Schneider

"Hello my name is Sara Schneider and I am a clinical intern here at Beyond Counseling. I have 4 years of Mental Health experience and 6 years experience working with children ages 6-17. Being a teacher and a daycare director in the past, my passion for working with children has driven me to continue working toward my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in 2017 with a major in psychology. Currently, I have an emphasis in trauma work under my counseling degree and plan to continue my education in trauma interventions for therapy services."

Hello! My name is Alexis Miles, and I am a Clinical Intern here at Beyond Counselors under the supervision of Aaron Jacobson LPC and Rosa Ruales LPC, LAMT. I have a BS in Behavioral Health Science and currently working towards my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I have worked in the mental health field for five years now and I have experience in working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am committed to providing a nonjudgmental space to clients and believe that each client should receive a treatment approach that is focused on their individual goals and needs. Throughout my education, I have been interested in cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy and solution-focused therapy. I look forward to meeting you!
